Morning breakfast baps are freshly prepared along with freshly brewed coffee. Homemade soup, sandwiches, and toasties served at lunchtime until 2.30pm. Afternoon brings an array of freshly baked cakes and English Lakes ice cream. Our speciality is our homemade scones with jam & cream and our toasted cranberry teacakes, served all day from opening to closing.

Open Wednesday to Sunday 10am-3.30pm throughout summer and Thursday to Sunday 10am-3.30pm throughout winter. See our website for postal cream teas.

Take the bus to Furness General hospital, Abbey road, we’re in the valley behind Abbey house hotel.
Take the train to either Dalton in Furness or Roose station, we are between the two.
To walk to us head into Barrow in Furness and walk under the archway to Furness abbey oposite Furness general hospital and behind Abbey house hotel. We’re just past Furness Abbey, follow the fence round and you’ll see us at the bottom of the amazing amphitheatre. Walk to the top and look at the view.
