About

Give something back to nature and the Lake District and take part in a Wild Work Day with Cumbria Wildlife Trust. Our nature reserves are located around Cumbria and each has its own distinct blend of habitats and wildlife. From peatlands, ancient woodlands, coast and grasslands – you can make a difference to these special places.

Help with a coastal litter pick, transform a community wildlife garden, paint wildlife hides, help create flower-rich grassland, or get in the fells and protect our upland peatlands. If science is more your thing then you could survey for marine wildlife on our coastline.

Wild Word Days are a great way to bring people together and improve everyone’s wellbeing, as well as giving back to nature.

We have a minimum requirement of 6 participants.
