About

This is a shortish ride through the pastoral landscape of the Cumbrian coastal plain. The fells of Black Combe and White Combe provide a stunning backdrop for pretty woodlands, lush green fields and dry stone walls. Start from the Duddon Estuary and head inland to the town of Millom. A sin along undulating coastal and valley roads carries the journey through to its end.

Road Directions

Take the A5093 to Millom, follow signs from the Shell garage to Haverigg beach. Turn at the Harbour hotel following the sign to the beach. Park in the car park opposite the beach cafe.
