About

The Lake District Coast Aquarium opened in May 1997 and contains 90+ themed tanks containing a collection of the diverse marine life found around the Cumbrian and UK coastline. We also have our Wild Solway exhibition centre with film theatre as well as our new Sea Lab which opened July 2015.

There is also our Harbourside Cafe which serves a variety of freshly prepared snacks, main meals and drinks with views overlooking the harbour. Dogs are welcome in our Cafe and Giftshop! Also, our Gift Shop is always stocked with a variety of gifts to suit all ages.

Our expanded Bait & Tackle shop can now supply  most of your of sea angling requirements.

Outside we have our 14 hole Crazy Golf course, remote controlled boats and there is also the Shiver Me Timbers playpark, which has been recently renovated and now has a splash pad.
