Seascale Lightworks 2026

Seascale Lightworks is designed as a flagship community celebration, bringing together residents, visitors and local businesses for a unique evening spectacle across the historic coastal village of Seascale. 
The event aims to showcase Seascale as a destination for cultural tourism, attracting families, young people and visitors from neighbouring villages, towns and communities.

Seascale Lightworks will take place across multiple locations including St. Cuthberts' Church, the Seascale Sports Hall, The Cricket Club, The Fort, the Playpark and the Methodist Church, creating complementary experiences across all locations and encouraging audiences to move between them. We will be combining the event with the annual Christmas tree festival at St. Cuthberts' Church.

Seascale Lightworks Programme 
The Seascale Lightworks programme will comprise a range of engaging light-based installations, performances and community activities, culminating in a celebration of the long-term community engagement programme.
