The Stables Café is located in the Castle’s former stables and is also the location for some of Muncaster’s live music events!

Serving a full range of options from light snacks to main meals plus delicious cakes and a selection of hot and cold drinks; something for everyone!

Open 8.30am-4.30pm (food until 3.30pm) Please check exact opening and serving times on the day to avoid disappointment as these may vary.

Sunday Lunch: Every Sunday for a traditional roast dinner with all the trimmings, served in the warm and welcoming surroundings of The Stables Café. Expect tender roast meats, crispy potatoes, seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire puddings, and rich homemade gravy – all freshly prepared. Whether you're visiting for the day or just stopping by, it’s the perfect way to enjoy a relaxed and satisfying Sunday.
