Join us for a full two days and one evening of Eat Street

Bringing together 16 of Cumbria's very best street food traders, serving world-class, worldwide dishes made by local people, alongside live local music and a relaxed, social atmosphere.

Enjoy your food properly with plenty of tables and seating, perfect for sitting back and soaking it all in.
Opening hours:

Saturday 2nd May - 11:00 to 20:00 (FREE ENTRY)
Sunday 3rd May - 11:00 to 20:00 (FREE ENTRY)

Our bar will be serving a great range of drinks, including beers from Ennerdale Brewery, alongside a selection of other well-known branded options.

A proper food and drink experience, done right – great vendors, great music, and space to enjoy it all.

Getting There by Car
The event is located at The Bransty Arch (JD Wetherspoon), right in Whitehaven town centre.

From the A595, follow signs for Whitehaven Town Centre / Harbour
Continue toward the harbour front
Follow roads toward Bransty Row – the venue is clearly positioned on the main road near the waterfront

It's an easy, central location and well signposted once you're in town.

There are plenty of parking options all within a short walk:

Harbour Car Parks (closest to the event):
Quay Street North
Quay Street South
Queens Dock
Tangier Street
All are just a few minutes walk from the venue
Town Centre Parking:
Additional parking is available throughout Whitehaven, including supermarkets and private spaces within walking distance of the town centre
Directly Nearby:
There is also parking located just across the road from the venue, making it very convenient for quick access

Most car parks are pay & display, with options for short stay or all-day parking.

Public Transport Directions

Getting to The Bransty Arch (Opposite JD Wetherspoon) by public transport is easy, with great links by train and bus right into the town centre.

By Train
Whitehaven is on the Cumbrian Coast Line, with regular services running roughly hourly from places like Carlisle, Workington and Barrow. The station is just a short 2-5 minute walk to the event, making it one of the easiest ways to arrive.

By Bus
Whitehaven is well served by local bus routes connecting surrounding towns and villages. Key routes include:

Stagecoach 30 / X30 – links Whitehaven with Workington, Maryport and Carlisle
Stagecoach 300 – coastal route connecting Carlisle to Whitehaven via Workington
Local services also run from areas like Egremont, Cleator Moor and Cockermouth

Most buses stop in or near the town centre, just a couple of minutes from the venue.

Drop-off point
There's even a main bus stop located directly outside the event on the A5094, making it a super convenient arrival point.
