About

Maryport is welcoming back Taste Cumbria on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 August 2026 for the Taste of the Sea festival.

After the success of expanding it over two sites last year, that will happen again this Summer, ensuring it makes the very best use of the town's waterfront. There's the new Harbourside event space, created as part Cumberland Council's £12 million regeneration of the town, as well as the big Marina showfield. Here's a flavour of the festival line-up – all of this is FREE to attend.

Producers' Market on Water Street car park
Outdoor picnic area with live music
Hot food stalls
Fairground rides
Children's activities
