Introducing our newest addition: the townhouse at 2 Cecil Street, a haven of sophistication housing six hotel-style rooms. Each room can be booked individually for at least one night, allowing for flexibility in your stay. However, should you wish to reserve the entire house, a minimum stay of two nights is required, granting exclusive access to the fully equipped kitchen facility, and adding a touch of home to your experience.

Choose from our selection of pocket-friendly studios to spacious two-bedroom penthouses, each offering ample space for entertaining and relaxation. Whether you’re planning an extended stay or a quick city break, our central location makes exploring Carlisle and its surroundings effortless. Situated just a stone’s throw from the train station, our apartments provide easy access to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Lake District and Hadrian’s Wall, as well as the enchanting Scottish Borders.

As an events venue, The Halston hosts various events, including live music and DJs, often on weekends. While we strive to minimise disruption to our guests, please be advised that the hotel and its surroundings may become livelier during these times, potentially resulting in noise for some apartments.

Are you traveling with a furry companion? We’re delighted to have dog-friendly hotel rooms, charges are £18 per dog per night, please inform us when making your reservation.
