Holker Hall and Gardens is found in a fantastic setting between the sea and the Lake District fells. The climate here has allowed gardeners over the centuries to develop the wonderful gardens which are developed and nurtured by the current gardening team. There is a magnificent deer park outside the formal gardens and woodland which gives great opportunity for viewing the deer while on the Tramper.

There is also the chance to visit the Hall (Tramper can not be taken indoors), the gift shop and the café.

Admission Fees to Holker Hall and Gardens Apply.

The Tramper Route:

The Tramper route goes through the formal gardens following good gravel and bark paths. There are narrow and steep sections where care must be taken and a slow speed used.

There are optional sections on grass paths available to visit the Holker Lime, the Sun Dial and the Labyrinth.

Outside the formal gardens is the Deer Park. The route through here is on good gravel and asphalt tracks.

There is one Tramper available at Holker Hall there are two sessions per day each lasting for two hours.

A member must be accompanied on the route by another person during the Tramper hire session.

Please ensure you arrive promptly as staff may not be available later and you may not be able to take the Tramper out.
