Afternoon tea served overlooking Windermere or in our comfortable lounge bar. Our restaurant, Burlington's, named after the local slate, is not just a hotel restaurant, its a destination in its own right. Our head chef Lukasz specialises in French and English cuisine and uses only the finest, freshest local produce and ingredients. We also offer a choice of two, three or five course selections from our evening menu and lunch.

The Beech Hill Hotel boasts one of the most beautiful locations in the Lake District, right on the banks of the lake with spectacular views across the water to the Lakeland fells beyond. The hotel has been tastefully refurbished and modernised to a high standard but maintains the atmosphere of a country house hotel.

Stunning views, great food and a warm welcome combine to give you a fabulous break in one of the most distinctive 4-star hotels in the area. We have 55 rooms, including suites, family rooms, premier rooms, spacious select rooms and classic rooms; many of which have private balconies or access to the hotel garden. Breathe the clear Cumbrian air and enjoy the unrivalled views across Windermere. All rooms are ensuite. Choose from Single, Twin, Double, Non Lake View or Lake View rooms.

Lakeview Spa

Relax in luxury in our Lakeview Spa, unique in that whether you are in the indoor pool, the vitality spa pools on our spa terrace or any of our treatment rooms, you have unrivalled views of Windermere and mountains beyond.

The design includes three spa treatment rooms (including a couples treatment room), a Himalayan Sauna, an aromatic Steam Room, two outside Vitality Spa Pools and a 40ft indoor pool. (Spa access charges may apply please contact the hotel for details).
