Formerly a Lakeland Hill Farm, Castlerigg Hall Caravan & Camping Park occupies one of the finest positions in the Lake District overlooking Derwentwater with breath-taking views of the surrounding fells. Our west facing location above Keswick provides the opportunity to relax and enjoy dramatic sunsets from your Holiday Caravan. All rooms are heated and all with balcony. Cars may be parked next to the unit. We do have some caravans which we accept pets in please enquire. Ramped access is available to two units. Good walks are available from the park including a 25/30 minute woodland walk into Keswick.

The onsite shop offers a wide range of locally sourced produce, gifts, camping accessories and an off licence. Other facilities include disabled facilities, laundrette, telephone and tourist information centre at the reception (with free Wi-Fi).
We are situated in the countryside and like to encourage as much wildlife as possible. The site participates in the David Bellamy Conservation Awards, which are held each year and we have achieved a 12th consecutive gold award for continuing commitment for conservation and the environment.
Deer may frequently be seen from the caravan terraces along with badgers and red squirrels. We have several nesting boxes for birds, bats and owls. We are now members of the Butterfly Conservation Trust and the David Bellamy Bee Pledge.
The site is home to four pigs, two Kune-Kunes ‘Posh and Becks’ and two micro-pigs ‘Betty and Rita’, also ‘Amy, Polo and Joeby’ our miniature Shetland Ponies and ‘Rusty and Dusty’ our miniature Mediterranean donkeys and ‘Alfie and Daisy’ our two goats along with our Pygmy Goats, Ouessant Sheep and Indian Runner Ducks.
