Kentwood is a luxury family-run Guest House in the village of Arnside, an area of outstanding natural beauty and a perfect base for you to go walking, hiking, or enjoy water sports on the Estuary.
The house was built in 1868 and the present family have been here for 48 years. Recently renovated to a high standard, we opened in 2019 and offer good home-cooked food, excellent hospitality and a one to one service to our guests to help give you a relaxing holiday. At present we offer two ensuite bedrooms, one with a large walk in shower and the other with a bath and overhead shower.
Our bedrooms are fully equipped with 32" TV, radio and Alexa in the rooms, welcome trays, fruit, biscuits, fresh milk in the fridge, teas and coffees, iron and ironing board. The ensuite bathrooms have luxury bath robes, tolietries and a hairdryer. Free wi-fi is available through out the guest house.

Estuary - A Deluxe King Room with Ensuite Shower room and Sea View
This King-size bedroom is fitted to a high standard. Relax in sumptuous bath robes and slippers, listening to your music of choice on Alexa. The ensuite bathroom has a large walk in shower to accommodate the views of the Estuary and complimentary Cole and Lewis toiletries. Sit at the window taking in the wonderful sunsets . Watch the birds in the garden. Flat screen TV and free internet access is available in all areas.
Viaduct - A Superking Double or Twin Romm with Ensuite Bathroom and Sea View
A flexible room, with Super-King bed which can be split into two single beds. The room has been tastefully decorated to a high standard. The ensuite bathroom has a full bath with a shower overhead and complimentary Cole and Lewis toiletries. Sit in the room and relax in sumptuous bath robes and slippers taking in the views and listening to your favorite music on Alexa. The view from the bedroom is of the famous Viaduct and The Lakeland Fells, as well as our beautiful garden. Flat screen TV and free internet access is available in all areas.

From the north, leave the M6 at junction 36 and take the A590 towards Kendal and The Lake District . Leave at the next junction and tum left at the roundabout towards Barrow. Take the first exit of the dual carriageway towards Milnthorpe. In Milnthorpe tum right at the traffic lights and follow 85282 to Amside .
From the South, leave the M6 at junction 35 . Follow the A6 to Milnthorpe and tum left at the traffic lights .Follow the road to Amside . Tum right after the railway bridge past Amside railway station to the centre of the village on your left will be the Albion pub tum up Silverdale road and immediately take the first turning on the left after the pub in to the drive way of Kentwood.
Please be aware, if you use sat nav or Google Maps, this will direct you up Church Hill to the back of the property where there will be no parking facilities.
