Keswick View offers a 4-star haven in the heart of Keswick with private off-road parking to the rear. The town's main visitor attractions are close, including shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs, cinema and theatre. Derwentwater lake is only a 10-minute stroll.
This traditional Lakeland slate property is maintained to a high standard. Our 3 luxurious, self-contained apartments are comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. The upper 2 apartments, Whinlatter and Castlerigg, have additional en suite shower rooms and enjoy fine fell views of Catbells and Newlands Valley. All apartments are equipped with complimentary wifi.
The Garden apartment features a patio/garden with outside seating and has level access from the car park and also into town, particularly suiting those with mobility difficulties. It is equipped with a modern bathroom with walk-in shower.
We welcome walkers and cyclists. The apartments share a popular drying and laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, plus boot rack and hangers to dry wet clothes. This room can also be used to securely store bicycles, as can the Garden apartment's private sun-lounge/porch.
Our changeover day is Saturday. Children are welcome at Keswick View. We have limited facilities for babies and toddlers (cot/high chair) so they can only be accommodated by prior agreement. Larger groups of up to 12 people can be accommodated by booking 2 or 3 apartments. Tariffs include gas central heating and electricity. Towels available pre-booked at a nominal charge. We have a no smoking and no pets policy.
Electric shaver points. Cooking by electricity. Walkers and cyclists welcome. TV in lounge only.
