Four legs and fur? They’re just as welcome as their owners. The choice of dog-friendly accommodations in the Lake District, Cumbria is second to none, we really are the canine capital of the country – from small, family-owned guesthouses to modern hotels. What they all have in common is their ability to cater for man’s best friend: the range of pawsome doggy extras range from towels for muddy paws after a day out of the fells, bowls and treats to dog beds and even doggie dining rooms. The farm and campsite has been run by the same family for 5 generations. It is a working farm home to Swaledale ewes, cattle and calves. Farm activities such as lambing, dipping, shearing and working dogs can be seen and swans, ducks, cat.
