About

The four-star Grange Hotel is ideally located on the southern fringe of the English Lakes, on the curve of Morecambe Bay. This lovely setting, with its panoramic bay views, extensive private grounds, terraced gardens and woodlands, is only five miles from Lake Windermere, and provides an ideal gateway to the awe-inspiring majesty of the Lake District National Park. The hotel is easily accessible, only 20 minutes from M6 and a four-minute walk from the station where trains connect to the west coast mainline at Lancaster.

One of the premier Lake District hotels, we offer warm hospitality, excellent service, stylish and elegant grandeur, sumptuously furnished rooms and a first-class cuisine. The hotel has free WiFi, and on-site parking. Family Rooms and accessible rooms are available. Ground floor public areas are accessible by ramp from the car park and a passenger lift gives easy access to the bedrooms on the first and second floor. BREAKFAST!

Our menus use high quality, locally sourced produce presented in a choice of venues, either our elegant, fine-dining Carriages Restaurant or the more informal Lounge Bar. In the summer months, Afternoon Tea is available on the terrace outside. Special dietary requirements are catered for and a Children's Menus is available. Our cuisine is complemented by an extensive and varied wine menu. Rooms are of a high standard and individually styled, all with separate En-suite bathrooms. Front-facing bedrooms with views over the Bay and town, Executive Rooms with views over the woodland and Boutique Suites, the ultimate luxury with fabulous four-poster beds and elegant roll-top baths in the room are available at further supplements. Special packages are available to complement your stay.

Our leisure facilities are open for guests and members to enjoy and include a pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room from 7am – 8pm.

We offer an extensive range of revitalising and relaxing spa treatments using Tropic Skincare products. With powerful, freshly-made formulations bursting with nature’s most nourishing ingredients, we feel this is the perfect brand to compliment what our Spa feels is important – natural wellbeing.

Whatever your requirements, our friendly and professional team will ensure you leave us feeling, relaxed, revitalised or restored.
