Sailing with Windermere Lake Cruises is the quintessential way for visitors to experience the stunning scenery surrounding England’s largest lake. Passengers can sit back and soak up the majesty of the English Lake District on historic ‘steamers’ and launches 364 days of the year. Windermere Lake Cruises welcomes meetings and conference groups of all sizes with sailings, ranging from 30-minute single trips to full day itineraries.
Lunch, dinner, traditional afternoon tea or drinks reception can be served on board any of our vessels hired exclusively.
New for this season is the brand new vessel, ‘MV Swift’. She has been designed with accessibility and comfort in-mind, complete with heated windows, electric doors and windows, USB and electrical sockets. She sits low in the water, with floor to ceiling picture windows giving passengers an unprecedented view of the Lake and carries up to 300 passengers.
