Nestled on the slopes of ancient woodland, Hill of Oaks is an award-winning 5-star Visit England and AA holiday park located in the heart of UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Lake District National Park. The park is idyllically located on the south-eastern side of lake Windermere and boasts exclusive lake frontage.
We have a selection of self-catering cottages, lake view apartments, lodges and the Waterbird Boathouse. Short or long breaks are available. (Friday or Monday start). Some properties offer spectacular views over lake Windermere. Dog-friendly options are available.
On-site facilities include a site shop and cafe, children's play area, dog park, and laundry. Wi-Fi is available through the park - see individual properties on our website for complimentary/chargeable. Please note, due to our rural location Wi-Fi is limited but we do have 4G signal.
Make the most of our lakefront location and take to the water. Bring your canoe, kayak, inflatable, or paddleboard for £20 per item, per stay. Slipways and piers are available for launching. Rigid/power boats are not permitted. Please note we do not hire out water sports equipment.
