About

This beautiful 7 bedroom Grade II listed farmhouse commands simply breath-taking views over Cartmel Valley in The Lake District National Park. With an array of original features, the luxury, dog friendly farmhouse dates back to the 1600s and offers wonderful quality accommodation.

A 7 seat hot tub, secluded private woodland and stunning scenery are just some of the ways to enjoy this exclusive, commanding property which has the advantage of being only one mile from Cartmel racecourse, two Michelin star restaurants, an ancient Priory and home of Sticky Toffee Pudding.  Concierge services include private chef & waiter service, outdoor activities, housekeeping, transport services and horse & carriage drives.

Greenbank Farm stands in 70 acres of rolling countryside where you can see the fields being grazed by beautiful black Friesian horses.  Internationally renowned 'The Friesian Experience' equestrian centre is located on the farm which is home to retired, working and rescued Friesian horses, as well as the world's first Stable Stay where you can book a night in a luxury self-catering stable and sleep next to a gorgeous Friesian or friendly miniature Shetland pony.

Windemere Lake is just a 15 minute drive away and easy access to the M6 makes this farmhouse ideally situated for exploring The Lake District and all of the adventures it has to offer.  National Trust properties nearby include Sizergh Castle and Fell Foot park and privately owned Holker Estate.
