About

Nestled within the Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape on the scenic coastline where Cumbria meets Lancashire, Holgates Silverdale is the multi-award-winning flagship of the Holgates family group. Since 1956, this five-star destination has set the benchmark for luxury escapes, offering a perfect blend of coastal charm and high-end facilities.

The park is set across 100 acres of meticulously maintained woodland and rolling countryside, providing a tranquil base for exploring the nearby Lake District and Morecambe Bay. Guests can choose from a versatile range of accommodation, including: Luxury Holiday Homes and Lodges (for hire and private ownership) Modern Glamping Pods and "Deluxe Dens" Fully-equipped Touring and Camping pitches.

At the heart of the Silverdale experience is the state-of-the-art leisure complex. This all-weather hub features two heated indoor swimming pools, a sauna, steam room, and a spa pool. For those seeking active recreation, the park boasts a fully equipped gym, a multi-lane bowling alley, and a 9-hole pitch-and-putt course.

Dining at Holgates is a celebration of local flavours. The on-site restaurant and bar serves homemade, seasonal dishes, while the café and ice cream parlour provide the perfect stop after a coastal walk. The park is a haven for wildlife; visitors are often just a short stroll away from the rare flora and fauna of the Leighton Moss RSPB reserve or the secluded pebbles of The Cove.

Whether you are looking for a family adventure or a peaceful retreat, Holgates Silverdale offers a premium, year-round holiday experience rooted in 70 years of family-run hospitality.
