Scenery Hill Hideaways offers a private self-catering retreat on the edge of the Lake District National Park, just outside Cockermouth. Tucked away within the grounds of Scenery Hill House, The Coach House offers a peaceful and secluded setting, giving guests their own private space to relax and explore the surrounding area.
Finished to a high standard, the accommodation blends traditional character with modern comfort. Inside, you’ll find a thoughtfully designed open-plan space, a well-equipped kitchen, and a cosy living area, along with a mezzanine sleeping area that adds a unique touch.
Outside, guests can enjoy a private patio, a covered hot tub, and a Scandinavian-style BBQ hut — perfect for year-round use. A fairy-lit path leads from the parking area to the Coach House, adding to the sense of arrival and privacy. The setting is quiet and rural, yet within easy reach of some of the Lake District’s most popular destinations, including Keswick, Buttermere and Derwent Water.
With private parking, EV charging available, and a focus on comfort and privacy, Scenery Hill Hideaways is a great base for walking, exploring, or simply switching off for a few days in the countryside.
