About

Experience the beauty of the Lake District by Boat.

Explore Coniston Water - one of the Lake Districts' famous lakes and see the magnificent scenery from a Canadian Canoe. We'll tailor the day to suit your group - whether it’s a fun day of games, exploring the lake and splashing with the whole family or a relaxing scenic journey, stopping along the way to visit its hidden coves and the remote Peel Island - also known as ‘Wild Cat Island’ from the famous book and feature film 'Swallows and Amazons'.

We guide you on a journey around the lake and share with you a unique glimpse into the area's diverse heritage. The history is rich and varied ranging from the famous Bluebird land speed record, writers like John Ruskin whose beautiful restored house graces the lakeshore to Conistons vibrant copper-mining.

Our canoes are designed to fit two adults and a child or even a dog! If you have small children, or you’re not too confident on the water - not to worry - we can join two canoes together to make a super stable and easy-to-paddle canoe raft. Fun for all the family. You'll be coached by an experienced instructor who will equip you with all the skills and everything you will need to have a safe and amazing adventure.

We provide all the necessary safety equipment and instruction so all you need to do is sit back and enjoy the adventure!

We take photos and send them to you FREE at the end so you will have memories you'll remember forever.

Age 5 upwards. A moderate level of fitness is required for this activity.
