The Lake District is famous for its climbing, offering a huge variety of options to suit everyone. Whatever your level, our qualified and experienced instructors will be there to coach you and show you the ropes! 

Rock Climbing venues
Venues we use are around the Langdale, Coniston, Ulverston and Western Lakes area in the Lake District, but if you have somewhere specific in mind, please contact us. 

Rock Climbing, Langdale (Age 6+)

Challenge yourself and have a go at Rock Climbing. The Lake District is the birthplace of Rock Climbing offering some of the finest climbing in the UK. This half-day rock climbing experience is for those who have never been climbing before or for those wanting a taste of outdoor rock climbing. During this session you'll learn the basics of movement on rock, making your way to the top safety attached to a tight rope. You'll also be taught the basics of belaying under the supervision of our friendly instructors. The venue is situated in a gently elevated location giving stunning views of the Langdale valley

Age 6 upwards. An average level of fitness is required for this activity.

Full Day Rock Climbing – various venues

Private groups only. If you would like a whole day’s adventure on the rock, we can provide a guide for you. Let us know what you would like from your day and we will tailor it to suit you.  Experience some of the Lake District’s finest crags where you'll be rewarded with some amazing rock climbing.

Minimum age 10 years

Allow up to 5-6 hours

Private Guided Climbing – Experienced Climbers

Have you been climbing for a while, but want to experience something new? Let one of our expert climbing guides lead you up to one of the Lakes Districts famous mountain crags. Have a crag in mind - great! Or use our extensive local knowledge to choose a venue that suits your level and experience.

For experienced climbers only. Maximum of 2 clients to 1 guide.
