Tripadvisor Traveller Rating
504 reviewsThe Lake District National Park provides a wealth of walking opportunities and offers something for everyone. We offer guided walks up England’s largest mountain - Scafell Pike and famous Lake Districts classic scrambles such as Striding Edge on Helvellyn or Sharp Edge on Blencathra. We can show you routes filled with history such as the Old Man of Coniston situated in the Coniston Valley with its wealth of old mining history.
Hidden gems and rare views
If you want to get off the beaten track, there are many lesser-known peaks and routes that are just as spectacular as the famous ones, use our local knowledge to show you some of the Lake District’s hidden gems!
Walks to suit all abilities
All walks or scrambles are designed with your group in mind. We can guide you on your planned route or design an itinerary specifically for you.
We make the day relaxing so you don’t need to do any map reading unless you want to. If you want to learn or brush up on your map reading skills, our expert guides have spent many hours in the hills and will share their extensive knowledge with you along the way.
Qualified local guides
You’ll be accompanied by a qualified, experienced, local guide showing you the way so that you can make the most of being out in the mountains. All our guides are lovely people who are passionate about spending time out with others in the hills, they love sharing their local knowledge and will give you an insight into the local history, geology and nature of the area.
A full-day walk to summit one of the larger mountains does require a reasonable level of fitness. If you want something a little less strenuous or you have young little legs with you, there are loads of smaller peaks with stunning views and many shorter lower-level walks to choose from.
