Float back to Victorian times as you indulge in a luxurious cruise on captivating Coniston water in this exquisite steam-powered craft.
Painstakingly rebuilt from the original Victorian ‘Gondola’, passengers can enjoy the silent gentle gliding motion combining their cruise with a visit to Brantwood House or disembarking at Monk Coniston jetty for a circular walk to Tarn Hows.
Full Lake cruises run daily and take in the full length of Coniston Water with lively commentary by the crew about Coniston’s famous connections.

Groups fares available for 15 or more when booked in advance.
There are no toilets on board. Public toilets including disabled facilities are available at the pier. Refreshments available at the Bluebird cafe. Pre-booking necessary for groups.

North Lake Cruise (1 hr)

Request stops at Brantwood for house and gardens (not National Trust) and Monk Coniston Jetty for walks to Tarn Hows (approx 3 hrs). Break your journey and re-join Gondola on a later sailing.
Heart of Lake Cruise (1hr)
Adult £17.50, Child £8.75, Family £43.75
This cruise is packed with cultural highlights and historical gems as you head south into 'Swallows and Amazons' and Donald Campbell territory, with an optional stop off at John Ruskin’s home, Brantwood.
Full Lake Cruise (1 hr 40 minutes)
Adult £23.50, Child £11.75, Family £58.75
Cruise to Lake Bank Jetty for walks at the southern end of Coniston Water or Parkamoor Jetty for perfect picnics on the east shore. Download walks from National Trust Gondola website (OS map and compass recommended). Walkers can re-join Gondola at Brantwood or Monk Coniston jetties on a later sailing. You can also stay on board for the round trip if preferred (Full Lake ticket required).
