Coniston Old Man is one of the better-known fells. Set in the south of the Lake District at 803 metres, the "Old Man" is one of the highest peaks in the Lake District National Park.

Many walkers prefer to begin their ascent in Coniston and make their way up to the peak of the Old Man at a leisurely pace. The summit overlooks the Low Water corrie and the beautiful peaks, tarns and meres below.
