The Restaurant
Our aim is simple – a dining experience that will keep you coming back time and time again.
Driven by a passion for seasonal, local, flavoursome cooking, head chef Jamie Hopkins and the team have created a fabulous menu of classic and contemporary dishes – the hard part is which to choose! Whether you’re joining us for lunch, dinner or treating yourself to afternoon tea, you won’t be disappointed.
In recognition of our food Briery Wood has been awarded 1 AA Rosette for Culinary Excellence. The AA Rosette scheme is long established and successfully recognises cooking at different levels nationwide.
Join us in the spacious dining room for a warm welcome, delicious food and great service. Sit back and take in the beautiful views over the secluded landscaped gardens, or weather permitting, there’s always the garden terrace where you can make the most of al fresco dining.
Afternoon Tea
Indulge in one of the finest British traditions and take Afternoon Tea at Briery Wood. Enjoy a relaxing time either out on the terrace or in one of our cosy lounges - it's a treat not to be missed!
Kick-off your afternoon tea with a selection of freshly made sandwiches, followed by homemade cakes, sweet treats and freshly baked scones served with cream and preserve. All of which are served along-side a selection of tea blends and infusions or coffee.
Afternoon tea is always popular, so booking is essential.
