Love being outdoors? Want to learn more about the natural world, get better at spotting wildlife or just have a walk with a difference…. ?
NaturesGems tours are all about experiencing the incredible variety of wildlife in the southern Lake District and Morecambe Bay area, one of the most biodiverse areas of England.
Half or full day nature experiences offer you the opportunity to:
- explore Morecambe Bay's natural gems
- gain insight into the way the land is managed
- taste the fantastic local produce that comes from the land, and
- support the inspiring conservation work that takes place in the area.
NaturesGems offers you a nature walk with a difference, led by an experienced local guide with small groups to ensure you have a high quality experience and a fun packed day with plenty of opportunity to stop and soak up the spirit of the place.
Gemma, your guide, previously managed a number of the nature reserves in the area and has over 20 years of experience working in nature conservation. Gemma is passionate about the Morecambe Bay area and the valuable conservation work that happens here, which is why 5% of all NaturesGems income goes directly back towards supporting local conservation projects.
Bespoke tours can also be arranged for groups or individuals on request.
NaturesGems also runs a number of seasonal short walks and events.
