10 reviewsVertical Skills is an Adventure Activity Provider in the Lake District and Yorkshire. We offer fantastic outdoor adventure experiences for families, groups, schools, stag and hen and MOD.
We are fully insured and hold an AALA license. Our instructors are highly experienced and NGB qualified. Our equipment is in excellent condition and we pride ourselves on giving out the best kit for every activity we.
Our activities include; Canyoning in Church Beck Canyon; Coniston, Stickle Ghyll Scramble; Langdale and Stoney Croft Ghyll Scramble; Keswick.
We have amazing abseils, epic 40 meter abseil in Cathedral Quarry a huge 150 ft Abseil at Hodge Close, South Lakes. Brilliant rock scrambling experiences at Yewdale, Coniston.
Outdoor Climbing experiences in the beautiful Langdale valley on Lake District volcanic rock.
From the Lakes it’s a quick hop over to our Adventure Centre in Ingleton if you would like to experience a subterranean adventure. Go below and discover an underground world of passageways, tunnels, caverns and under-ground waterfalls. If you are looking for something completely different, this is Caving! We have loads of family friendly caves, vertical cave experiences and the mega Alum pot trip with 90Meter abseil. Also over here, if you like waterfalls, we can take you down the Ingleton Water Falls Canyon, best known as Beezley, canyoning. This includes, big jumps, slides and abseiling down waterfalls. Definitely a reason to nip over to our centre.
All our activities are really exciting, packed with fun and for those wanting a bit more we cram in some knee shaking moments for those adrenalin junkies. Booking with Vertical Skills will create lasting memories of fantastic outdoor adventures. But just in case you need more or want to share your experience with others when you get home, we provide free photos of your adventure before you leave.
