About

To be able to walk the track taken by the miners of old, to explore the hidden gems beneath our feet and experience the skill and workmanship demonstrated by these men, is indeed a privilege.

Imagine the opportunity to safely step back in time, to take a journey back into our industrial heritage. In comparison to caving, this is what mining is all about. An opportunity to find out about these remote communities seeking out “Black Gold” or Galena/Lead Ore.

Many of our now “National Parks” and “Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty” have a huge mineral wealth beneath the landscape that has allowed them to be recognised as National Parks. The life that was once worked below them is often now forgotten or far from reach. But by utilising our skills, knowledge and equipment, that adventure is closer than you realise.

Our Instructors all hold the highest level of qualification and have, dare I say it, decades of experience behind them. Many now train young and aspirant instructors to do the job we do and love. If you’d like more information on the full range of opportunities, then why not visit our sister company GoCave.com

About Go Cave

Whether you are looking for bespoke 1:1 cave guiding in some of the deeper and more challenging caves of England, Scotland and Wales or the opportunity for a number of like-minded friends to do something completely out of the ordinary, let GoCave.com design a programme of activity and adventure that suits you.

As an organisation we avoid the standard and off the shelf caving courses. We prefer the opportunity to look at your requirements and build a partnership centred on win/win. That means we work in an area that suits you and we select the venue that best suits your abilities and capabilities, while still providing the opportunity for excitement, challenge and a few nerves.

All cave guiding and instruction quotes are provided on an individual basis, according to your specific requirements GoCave prices

Please contact us to discuss your ideas and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. If it’s not immediate, it’s probably because we’re out enjoying ourselves caving somewhere down under!
