About

Laurel Bank B&B is a guest house in Keswick which prides itself on the high quality of its bed and breakfast holiday accommodation.

Ideally located in Keswick, the Lake District

Laurel Bank bed and breakfast guest house is handy for the centre of Keswick – one of the most popular holiday resorts in the Lake District. A fifteen-minute walk through the lovely Fitz Park with its rare trees, bowling greens and tennis courts takes you to the heart of Keswick, where there is an abundance of shops, traditional Lake District pubs and good restaurants. Keswick also has its own cinema – the historic Alhambra – and there is an excellent new theatre on the shores of Lake Derwentwater. For those not wanting to walk the local taxis are reliable and inexpensive.

Visitors to Laurel Bank B & B can also walk along the scenic route of the Keswick old railway and on to the Keswick Leisure Centre, at the site of the grand Keswick station.

Bus stops almost on the door for routes to Penrith, Cockermouth, Workington and Windermere. A 15-minute walk to Keswick centre, restaurants, pubs, leisure centre, theatre, park, shops, lake Derwentwater.
