The Oaks Country Estate is a collection of 10 self catering properties, set within a tranquil and private woodland estate, just 1 mile from Bowness on Windermere. It is a perfect location for groups of friends and family to get together, as the properties range from a 1 bedroomed quaint cottage to a luxury 12 bedroom country house and there is plenty of outdoor space to relax and unwind.
Each property has been fitted with a log burner for the cozy nights in and a hot tub to relax and unwind in while surrounded by nature. The family owners and staff pride themselves in their customer service, high standards of cleaning and ensuring the properties are furnished to a high standard, equipped like a home, to ensure guests can spend time together making special memories inside and outside.

When travelling by car please use the post code: LA23 3JA and the property name is: THE OAKS. Local directions: From the B5284, after passing Windermere Golf Club on your left continue straight until you see a 30mph red and white sign. After the sign you will take the next left turn, which is approx 200 yards. This is the main drive for the Linthwaite House hotel.
Drive past the 2 private houses on the left of the drive and 2 entrances to the hotel on the right hand side of the drive. You will then see a white sign for The Oaks Country Estate and Woodland Cottages on the left hand side of the drive.
