Tripadvisor Traveller Rating
346 reviewsWe are situated in the village of Bowness on Solway on western edge of the UNESCO World Heritage Hadrian's Wall a stones throw away from the Solway Firth with stunning views across to Scotland.
The house dates back to the 15th century. In 2020 we completely refurbished the House. The guesthouse has 5 rooms – 2 double or twin rooms, 1 single room and 2 double rooms. All of our rooms are homely, comfortable and restful, with en-suite bathrooms, luxury toiletries, quality beds and bedding. All rooms are equipped with televisions, hairdryers and drinks making facilities. We are happy to offer free Wi-Fi for all our guests. We do not accept pets in the house. Guests are welcome to relax in our residents lounge and quiet room with honesty bar, where the furnishings surround a log burning stove with the grand oak staircase rising to the first floor.
Wallsend Guest House & Glamping Pods itself continues to grow after starting with only four luxury glamping pods back in July 2014, which proved to be very popular with their home from home comforts all year round. Each Pod has its own wood fired Hottub.
