Discover the real magic of storytelling this Christmas as Theatre by the Lake bring you a new adaptation of this classic children’s book ‘A Little Princess’ by Frances Hodgson Burnett. A World Premiere, this production promises adventure, wild imaginings and fabulous tales of travel.

Journey with Sara Crewe as she travels from the freedom of a childhood in India to a boarding school in a cold dark corner of northern England. Just as she begins to build a brighter world for herself and her friends some devastating news arrives from home and her life takes a terrible turn. Meanwhile, our storyteller, Ramdas, is on his way from faraway Shimla with a twist in the tale that could change everything. He must find the girl with a strong heart and a head full of wild imaginings before it’s too late.

• This production runs between Friday 17th Nov 2023 and Sunday 7th January 2024. The winner must be able to attend Theatre by the Lake in Keswick, on a date during this period but excluding the dates 23rd - 31st December 2023.
• No exchange is available for cash or tickets to see other shows.
