A family experience for the bravest of participants is coming to Zip World Windermere this October as Arachnophobia takes over Treetop Nets from 25 – 31 October 2025.

This Halloween encounter for all the family will see eight-legged monsters crawl amongst human visitors on the slides, tunnels and vast netted spaces of Zip World's popular Treetop Nets.

Located in the woodlands of Brockhole Visitor Centre and on the shores of Windermere, the nets are a fantastic experience for families and visitors aged three and upwards. The elevated bouncy nets will take on a whole new experience as participants navigate their way through cobwebs, spooky spiders and even a potential encounter with the chilling human-spider hybrid!

Arachnophobia is available to explore for two hours with tickets costing from £23 per person. Alternatively book the Pumpkin Passport Plus (via Brockhole) from £35 per person which allows nets access for one hour, plus entry to 20 other frightful experiences at Brockhole including storytelling around the Witch's Cauldron, live owl encounters, science shows, a Halloween magic performance and haunted house experience.
