Meet at the Swan Inn in Grasmere to meet your guide, Matt, and the group, get an overview of the day and dive straight into a bit of map reading and compass work!
Then it is straight out into the hills, heading up the slopes of Silver How to put some navigation into practice and learn as you go (whilst enjoying the stunning views!). You will have chance to try out point-to-point navigation, distance pacing, compass bearings and more.
