Our selection of dog-friendly holiday cottages welcomes all breeds and sizes of dog, and are personally inspected to ensure that pets are just as welcome as their owners are. And for those with a whole pack of pooches, you can bring them all along for the adventure – several of our cottages welcome multiple dogs, some welcoming up to five dogs!

For a change of scenery, the local towns and villages are bursting with quirky history, and there are plenty of dog-friendly pubs around to call into for a pit-stop. After a long day’s exploring, put your tired feet or paws up in one of our cosy cottages and enjoy a relaxing night in.

Our dog-friendly cottages offer the perfect base for your Lake District exploration. Set in excellent locations across the National Park, from popular towns such as Ambleside and Keswick to more secluded spots with lake and mountain views, you’ll be well-placed to discover the best of the Lake District. Several of our cottages are extra-dog-friendly too, with additional features such as secure, enclosed gardens to run around in and dog treat hampers on arrival offering an especially warm welcome for you and your dog. There’s plenty for the humans to enjoy too – treat yourself to a holiday cottage with features such as a roaring log fire, a home cinema or perhaps a bubbling hot tub.
