The Lakeland Cottage Company has been offering hand-picked quality holiday cottages across the Lake District for over 25 years, offering a selection of places to stay which are equally as stunning as the locations they’re set in.

Each of the cottages in the selection of almost 80 properties has been personally chosen for its quality, character, comfort and location, meaning you’ll have the perfect place to come back to and relax in after a day of exploring the Lake District’s many spectacular wonders.

Many of our holiday cottages are Visit England accredited and of a five-star standard, offering all of the comforts of a home from home as well as all the little extras that mean you can really indulge and treat yourself during your break away.

Tuck into the goodies packed into a welcome hamper, sit back by a roaring log fire or even sink into the bubbles of a private hot tub. Many of our cottages also offer truly incredible views out onto the Lake District’s scenery, overlooking towering mountains and tranquil lakes.

More than half of the holiday cottages in our selection welcome dogs, meaning your pet can join you on the Lake District’s legendary walks, as well as at the National Park’s many dog-friendly attractions.

Sleeping from 2 up to 14 guests, we cater for parties of all shapes and sizes, offering everything from intimate couples’ retreats to family-friendly cottages and huge houses perfect for group gatherings.
