About

High Swinklebank Farm is a family run working hill sheep farm near the near of the beautifully unspoilt Longsleddale Valley. The valley is about 20 minutes from the town of Kendal where there are the usual amenities and a market each week with a farmers market once a month. We are about 40 minutes from Windermere and easily accessible to the central Lakes.

The cottage is ideally situated for those who like a gentle stroll or just want to relax and enjoy the views. For the more adventurous walkers there are fantastic walks with views from the fell tops all within walking distance from the cottage.
The cottage is self contained with ample parking with a garden which guests are welcome to use. The cottage comprises living room, well fitted kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 Double and 1 with Bunkbeds). The heating is electric and all linen is proved with a cot if required. Electricity is by a coin meter.

Children are welcome and a dog by arrangement. Cleanliness and personal attention are assured.

Ideal walking and rambling area. Kendal leisure centre 20 minutes drive away.
