Mosedale End Farm is your escape at the edge of everything—spacious, quiet, and filled with nature. Look at the mountain views from the windows and drink tea and eat homemade cake on your private balcony with the soothing soundtrack of baa-ing grazing sheep below - it's time to slow things right down.
Wake slowly. Make toast in your socks. Your in-room kitchenette is perfect for preparing brews & bites and Cumbrian culinary delights—whether that's breakfast in bed, midnight snacks or an evening in wine and cheese. Breakfast hampers delivered to your door with delights like homemade bread & drops scones perfect for lazy mornings.
For those who come to walk from the door, drive the Lake District passes, take in the majestic scenery, breathe the air, and wake up to silence—you’ll feel right at home here.
Mosedale End Farm is more than just rooms—it’s the pause you’ve earned.

Driving Directions Please be careful as some Sat Nav`s will take you to a holiday cottage around the corner. Find us on google maps. Leave the M6 at J40 (Penrith) and take the A66 west to Keswick for approx 10 miles. Take the right turn for Mungrisdale and Caldbeck. Drive approx 4 miles on to Mosedale. (You will pass through Mungrisdale, passing the Mill Inn on your left). Proceed through Mosedale village, sat nav`s will tell you to turn left for Swineside, THIS IS WRONG. Mosedale End Farm is the last house in the village on the left, hence our name - Mosedale End Farm. Mosedale End Farm is a traditional Lake District white farm house and is set back off the road, behind its own private yard where you may park your car. I look forward to meeting you and wish you a safe and pleasant journey.
