Our self catering cottage is situated on a quiet road in Cockermouth, ideally situated for the North lakes, Keswick, Bassenthwaite lake, Buttermere, Lorton, Ullswater, Ennerdale water and the Solway coast. The property offers 2 double bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a conservatory with washing machine, a bathroom with a shower, and a comfortable living room fully fitted with TV, sound system, and access to Netflix, Youtube etc.
The property also offers a cosy electric stove in the living room and remote control 'Hive' central heating and high speed full fibre broadband.
The cottage has front and rear gardens, for outdoor dining, as well as off-road parking.
It is situated approximately 10 minutes walk from local shops and amenities such as Sainsbury's, Aldi, and Lidl, along with many local pubs, boutique shops and restaurants.
Local attractions include the newly-refurbished Jennings Brewery, Lakes Distillery and the unique and very popular Trout Hotel and Bassenthwaite Lake Station restaurant, which is formed of several antique railway carriages.
Our location is ideally suited for fell walkers, rock climbers, hiking in the lakes, cycling, and fishing. It is also great for just a few days of relaxation.

To reach the property from the south or the North, exit the M6 at Junction 40 (Penrith) and join the A66 heading West for around 30 miles, passing Keswick before turning right at the Oakhurst round about where there is a large Starbucks coffee shop and petrol station. head toward Cockermouth town centre for approx. 1 mile then turn second left onto Brigham road. Second turning on your left is Evening Hill Drive, the house is on your right.
Stagecoach X4 or X5 'Lakes connection' bus service leaves Penrith rail station and runs hourly and takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach Cockermouth. The property is around 10 minute walk or a short taxi ride from Cockermouth town centre
