About

Located in a beautiful part of the northern Lake District, close to Cockermouth, Keswick, Buttermere, Crummock Water, Loweswater, Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite.

Welcome to Stewart Leisure and our choice of three holiday parks in West Cumbria on the edge of the Lake District National Park. All three parks are secure and family owned and run by the Stewart’s and our loyal staff. Located just minutes from Cockermouth, Keswick just 14 miles away and the beautiful Cumbrian coast and beaches also just minutes away too, your dream holiday home offers so much.

Being on the edge of the National Park means we have a 12 month licence at each park so you can enjoy your holiday home whenever suits you. Ellerbeck Farm & Fishery is our newest park and we are pleased to add this to our portfolio. Quiet, secluded offering touring caravan pitches with the added bonus of coarse fishing on a choice of 2 lakes.

Brigham Holiday Park is our flagship park and is beautifully located with great facilities and a fabulous bus service at the end of our entrance. At Brigham there is also the opportunity to sublet your holiday home when you are not using it.

Grasmoor View is exclusive and is just a delight with stunning views, large plots with the same quality and attention to detail.

Ellerbeck Farm & Fishery offers touring caravan spaces surrounded by woodland and two fabulous coarse fishing lakes where you can obtain a permit to fish.

Road Directions

Stewart Leisure operates multiple holiday parks, primarily located in two distinct regions: the Lake District (Cumbria, England) and Fife (Scotland). To provide you with accurate directions, you'll need to specify which Stewart Leisure Holiday Park you intend to visit. Here's a breakdown of their main locations and general directions: Stewart Leisure Parks in Cumbria (Lake District, England): These parks are situated near Cockermouth in the Western Lake District, offering access to the fells, lakes, and the Cumbrian coast. Brigham Holiday Park: Address: Brigham, Near Cockermouth, Cumbria CA13 0XH General Directions: Located close to Cockermouth. From the A66, you would typically turn off towards Brigham. Grasmoor View Holiday Park: Address: Winscales Road, Winscales, Workington, Cumbria CA14 4UZ General Directions: Also near Cockermouth, with views and proximity to Whitehaven and Workington. Ellerbeck Holiday Park & Fishery: Address: Brigham, Cockermouth, Cumbria CA13 0SY General Directions: Located in Brigham, similar to Brigham Holiday Park. To get to the Cumbrian parks: By Car: From the South (M6): Take the M6 north, then typically exit at Junction 40 (Penrith) onto the A66 westbound towards Keswick and Cockermouth. Follow signs for Cockermouth, and then for the specific park you are visiting (Brigham, Winscales, etc.). From the North (M6): Take the M6 south, then typically exit at Junction 40 (Penrith) onto the A66 westbound towards Keswick and Cockermouth. From the West/Coast: Use coastal roads like the A595 and follow signs towards Cockermouth or Workington, then look for local signs to the parks.

Public Transport Directions

Public Transport: Train: The nearest major train stations would be Penrith (on the West Coast Main Line) or Carlisle. From there, you would likely need to take a bus or taxi to reach Cockermouth and then your specific holiday park. Brigham Holiday Park mentions a bus service right outside the park to Workington and Keswick. Bus: Local bus services operate around the Lake District. You would need to check specific routes to see if they pass directly by or very close to your chosen park.
