The 516 service runs every hour seven days a week, with early morning journeys and a last return bus at 8.10pm which continues to Windermere and Kendal. On Friday and Saturday there are later journeys to allow you to extend your visit. Change at Ambleside for buses to/from
Grasmere; Kendal; Keswick; Windermere.

On Friday and Saturday there are extra later buses, so you can stay in the valley until 10.30pm, or if staying in the valley have a longer day out and return from Ambleside at 9.55pm.

Maximum Fare £3 Single
Concessionary Travel passes accepted for Free travel after 9.30am on weekdays and all journeys on Weekends.
Central Lakes Day Ticket (£10) and One Day Explorer (£12) accepted.
