CancerCare is a local, independent charity that provides support to adults and children affected by cancer and bereavement.

It costs us over £2 million per year to keep our centre doors open in Lancaster, Kendal, Morecambe and Barrow, and we rely entirely on fundraising, donations and gifts in Wills.

Our events calendar has something for everyone, from our iconic Bay Walks to dog shows, skydives and family fun days. From half marathons and other thrilling challenges to local fundraisers hosted by supporters across the patch.

By taking part in one of our events, you’ll be helping to ensure we can continue providing vital emotional and practical support to local families when they need it most.
