Get creative this February half term at Abbot Hall, with hands-on activities inspired by the Simon Starling: Boat Works exhibition.

Boat Works Collage
Using images from 'Simon Starling: Boat Works', collage a boat and imagine where it would row, sail or float! Draw inspiration from the exhibition, or from your favourite boats. Self-led activity in the Coffee bar in the Creative space.

This self-led activity is available daily from the Art Cart.

Painting Blocks Workshop
Join this free artist-led workshop and paint a toy block to help add colour and creativity to our Creative space.

Sessions take place on Thursday 19 February from 10.30 to 11.30am and 2 to 3pm.

Concertina Crafts
Trace, cut and decorate various concertina shapes that connect with our 'Simon Starling: Boat Works' exhibition. What shapes will you create?

Exhibition Art Trail prompt
Sully the Cat has added a new prompt to the Abbot Hall Art Trail! One of the pieces in the 'Simon Starling: Boat Works' exhibition includes live plants. What types of plants can you spot? Find the clues in Gallery 8.
