About

Have a go at willow weaving your own Scandinavian or 5-pointed star with the guidance of the experienced team from Kendal-based Willowpool Designs this December.

Spend a relaxing 2 and a half hours in Blackwell's Guild Room, featuring wonderful wintry treetop views from the windows, learning traditional willow weaving techniques and creating a unique handmade decoration to take home. Come along with your nearest and dearest or treat yourself to a crafty solo date with the chance to meet like-minded people in one of the UK's most beautiful Arts & Crafts houses.

By the end of the workshop, you'll leave creatively refreshed with your own handmade Christmas decoration, perfect for adding a seasonal touch to your home!

All materials will be provided, with £10 materials charge payable to the maker on the day. This workshop is suitable for all levels from absolute beginners to willow weaving experts. Due to the nature of the workshop, there's only 12 spaces available.
