Formed in Carlisle and named after a local landmark, the band's sound is driven by the prolific songwriting of brothers Jonny and Tom Foster. Their albums The Borderland and Fly The Flag earned glowing reviews, with Mojo praising their "Dexys-level dynamism, Motown dancers, E-Street shuffles, stirring brass and ballads laced with romance and humour."

Their live shows have become the stuff of legend, winning them fans in high places — from Paul McCartney, who recommended them for Glastonbury, to Bob Dylan, who they supported in Hyde Park.

Hardwicke Circus have played everywhere from UK prisons to the frontlines of Ukraine, where they became the first British band to perform since the invasion, recording their powerful live album One Hour Ahead of The Posse on the road.

Now, with their latest single 'Hollow' — produced by Alan Winstanley (Madness, Elvis Costello) and John McFee (Doobie Brothers, Van Morrison) — the band continue to push forward with passion, grit, and heart.
