What happens when two professional magicians get married?
Alan and Kat Hudson are Hudson & Hudson, the real-life married couple behind Married at First Sleight – a live show combining comedy, mind-blowing magic, incredible mind reading and the natural bickering of married life.

And both have some serious credentials.

Alan Hudson is a winner of Penn & Teller: Fool Us, successfully fooling Penn & Teller in Las Vegas. He has also appeared on Britain's Got Talent and ITV's The Next Great Magician.

Alan is a Member of The Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star and has also received The Magic Circle's Carlton Comedy Award for outstanding comedy in magic.

Kat Hudson has an equally impressive story.

Her appearance on Britain's Got Talent earned her four yeses and a standing ovation from the judges.

The performance subsequently became a huge online hit. Kat's own website now promotes her as having over 100 million online views, while Hudson & Hudson's current agency biography says her BGT clip has accumulated hundreds of millions of views online.

Her television appearances also include Penn & Teller: Fool Us and Italy's Tú Sí Que Vales.

Kat is herself an Associate Member of The Inner Magic Circle with Silver Star. In 2021 she took her magic to London's West End, appearing as a guest star in the magic and illusion spectacular Wonderville.

Having already established successful careers as individual magicians, Alan and Kat eventually decided to take the potentially dangerous step of performing together.

Hudson & Hudson debuted their first live double-act show, Married at First Sleight, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2023.

Rather than simply combining their existing solo routines, they developed material specifically for the new double act.

The result is a very different kind of magic show – combining stand-up comedy, sketches, magic and mind reading with the chemistry, competitiveness and petty arguments of a real married couple.

The pair have also performed at two of the most famous institutions in magic: The Magic Castle in Hollywood and The Magic Circle in London.
