LYR are UK Poet Laureate Simon Armitage, producer and multi-instrumentalist Patrick Pearson, and Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Richard Walters.
After sell-out shows in previous years, a breathtaking performance at the 2025 BBC Proms, and following two highly acclaimed albums, the trio are undertaking their most extensive tour to date. Soaring vocals, ethereal soundscapes and extraordinary lyrics have made LYR shows an unmissable and unforgettable experience, from a group who are now an essential part of the contemporary music scene.
Plus support Natalie Wildgoose.
Recalling the spectral crackles of Molly Drake, or the heart-wrenching intimacies of Josephine Foster and Joan Baez, Natalie Wildgoose's ghostly take on folk tradition carries the powerful, rarefied qualities of an unearthed archive recording, so much so that you can almost blow the the dust from it. Writing and recording on various pianos across the Yorkshire Dales using her grandfather's old reel-to-reel tape recorder, Natalie's work seeks to uncover the past; to reconnect with and capture the environments of the places and people that hold her.
