Enjoy an afternoon of poetry and live music at Blackwell – the Arts & Crafts house, near Bowness-on-Windermere in the Lake District.
Presented by Grey Hen Press, Kendal's only dedicated poetry press, Poetry & Music brings together poets Kerry Darbishire, Joy Howard and Pauline Yarwood for readings inspired by mountains, lakes, rivers and woods.
The poetry will be accompanied by the evocative sounds of the viola da gamba, performed by Elizabeth Dodd, creating a rich and atmospheric experience in one of the Lake District's most beautiful Arts & Crafts houses.
Perfect for poetry lovers, curious visitors, or anyone interested in Cumbria's vibrant literary culture, this promises to be a thoughtful and uplifting afternoon.
This event is included with house admission. Lakeland Arts Members and Blackwell Annual Pass holders go free.
